I felt compelled to return and comment. This post does a lot of disservice to this book. I would highly recommend engaging with some of that community to understand their thinking. James Marcus Bach, Michael Bolton and their followers on twitter or social media are a good start to find knowledgeable testers who can provide a perspective.
James Marcus Bach and Cem Kaner contributions to testing don’t have a match by far. At some point I was also not aware of their ideas on testing, despite being a software tester. I highly recommend understanding their ideas on testing.
